About your treatment

Once you start your treatment, it’s a good idea to keep track of how you’re feeling to reference at your check-in. Jot down any changes you may experience, especially if you notice side effects. The Care tab in the Hims app has details about common side effects and some safety tips to keep in mind. It’s also good to know that most side effects tend to be mild and often fade away with time. Have questions or need to chat before check-in? Don’t hesitate to reach out. You’re not alone in this and you have unlimited, 24/7 access to your Care Team as a benefit of your subscription. Just head over to the Care tab in the app and send them a message.

Check-in and personalized treatment

About ten days after starting your treatment, we'll reach out to you via email with a link for your check-in. You can also access your check-in through the Care tab in the app. We’ll ask you a few questions, and when you’re done a member of the Care Team will review your responses. No need for extra prep—just have the notes you’ve jotted down or questions you’d like to ask handy. If it helps, here are some questions to think about:

  • How am I feeling about the treatment plan?

  • Am I noticing any side effects?

  • Have I been consistent with my treatment?

  • Am I noticing any positive changes since starting treatment?

These check-ins are important because they are all about making sure your treatment is tailored to your needs, moving you closer to your goals.
